I have enough done to show pictures, right now just the web interface and the Fritzing diagram.
I used an Esquilo, a Tentacle Shield from White Box Labs, a pH EZO Circuit and RTD EZO Circuit from Atlas Scientific as well as the Temperature probe and pH Probe from them. Tentacle Shield was purchase from them too.
I also used theĀ Adafruit 4-channel I2C-safe Bi-directional Logic Level Converter – BSS138 because the Tentacle Shield was 5v only and the I2C on the Esquilo was 3.3v.
Of course a box and power switch and power adapter and other little stuff but those are the main components.
I had to cut the two pins on the underside of the Tentacle Shield from going into the Esquilo header for the I2C pins so I could insert my Logic Level Converter. It is a shield so the Fritzing only shows wires that I did and not the Esquilo to Tentacle Shield connections.
Here are some Web interface pictures. Not super fancy but looks nice I think. Same type as the Anodizing Controller. I call it a pH Controller but it actually doesn’t control anything yet. I’m hoping in the future I can make it add chemicals to raise or lower the pH to the correct level.
Here is the Fritzing Diagram.
I’ll get pictures of the hardware and box that I built soon and the code which is still a work in progress.
Thanks,
Jeffery
